3D Letter Signage and Dimensional Logos for Walls and Façades

3D letter signage means individual letters and logo shapes with real depth, fixed to a wall, fascia or panel. They cast shadows, catch light and look more considered than a flat print. This is different from our 3D structures work, which covers larger freestanding builds such as installations and props.

The main choices are material, depth, finish and whether the letters are lit. Each affects how the sign looks from a distance and up close. Send us your logo and a photo of the wall and we'll suggest combinations that suit your brand and budget.

Typical applications

  • Reception logos

A raised logo behind the front desk, often the first thing visitors see.

  • Shopfront lettering

Individual letters on a fascia instead of a flat panel, for a cleaner, more architectural look.

  • Building names

Large letters on a building face or entrance canopy.

  • Feature walls

Brand values, slogans or names spelled out in dimensional letters in offices and restaurants.

What we need to quote

  • Your logo or text in vector format
  • The overall width or letter height you want
  • Photo and measurements of the wall
  • Wall type (plasterboard, concrete, glass, cladding)
  • Lit or unlit, and whether power is nearby

Questions

Is 3D letter signage the same as 3D printing?

No. 3D letters are cut and fabricated from sheet materials such as acrylic, metal or PVC. They aren't made with an additive 3D printer.

What's a halo-lit letter?

A halo-lit letter has lighting behind it that shines back onto the wall, creating a glow around the edges while the face stays solid. It suits darker walls and evening viewing.

Can very thin or detailed logos be made in 3D?

Fine lines and small details can be fragile or hard to cut. We may suggest thickening strokes slightly or using a backing panel, and we'll show you before production.
