Illuminated Signs, Lightboxes and LED Neon for Day and Night

Many businesses do much of their trade in the evening, and an unlit sign effectively disappears after sunset. Illuminated signs keep your name visible from the street, and inside a restaurant, lounge or store they add atmosphere as well as information.

Lighting adds practical questions: where power comes from, how the sign will be switched, how hot the location gets and how easy it is to reach for maintenance. We'll talk through those with you and suggest lighting styles that suit the site and the look you want.

Typical applications

  • Shopfront lightboxes

Backlit panels on fascias and projecting signs that stay readable at night.

  • Lit fascia lettering

Individual illuminated letters for a clean, architectural shopfront.

  • LED neon-style feature signs

Flexible LED tubes shaped into words or logos for cafés, events and photo spots.

  • Menu and promotional lightboxes

Illuminated frames with changeable graphics for counters and walls.

What we need to quote

  • Photos of the location and approximate size
  • Your logo or wording
  • Indoor or outdoor
  • Where the nearest power supply is
  • Preferred lighting style (lightbox, lit letters, neon-style)

Questions

Is LED neon the same as glass neon?

No. LED neon-style signs use flexible LED strips in a diffused casing to create a similar look. They're generally lighter and less fragile than glass tubes.

Who connects the sign to power?

Electrical connection is discussed per project and may need a qualified electrician or your fit-out contractor. Tell us who's handling electrics on site so we can coordinate.

Do illuminated signs cope with outdoor heat?

Heat affects LEDs and power supplies, so outdoor lit signs need ventilation and components suited to high temperatures. We'll ask about sun exposure when suggesting options.
