Acrylic Signs and Panels with a Clean, Modern Finish
Acrylic is popular for interior signs because it looks crisp and modern, comes in clear, frosted and solid colours, and can be printed, cut, layered or engraved. A clear panel on stand-off fixings can make a simple logo look considered without much cost.
Acrylic does scratch more easily than glass and can yellow over time if a low-grade sheet is used in direct sun. For most indoor signs it's an excellent choice. Tell us where the sign will go and how people will interact with it, and we'll suggest thickness, finish and fixings.

Questions
How is acrylic different from glass for signs?
Acrylic is lighter and less likely to shatter, which makes it easier to fix and transport. Glass resists scratches better. For most interior signs, acrylic is the more practical choice.
How do I clean an acrylic sign?
Use a soft microfibre cloth with mild soapy water. Avoid paper towels and ammonia-based glass cleaners, which can scratch or cloud the surface.
Can acrylic signs be used outdoors?
Some acrylics are made for outdoor use, but strong sun and heat can affect lower-grade sheets. For exterior signs we'll discuss whether acrylic or another material is more suitable.
